The Norm...

11:24AM -- Well, things have been pretty much the norm for the last day or two. The usual pain and nausea. The pain was a little more pronounced yesterday, or frequent I should say as he required a total of three ½ doses of the Dilaudid. However, the meds are working well so far. We both managed to go to sleep at a decent hour last night. Well, he did, anyway. I got in bed around 2AM, which over the course of the last 3 days is decent for me.

He's having an Ensure for breakfast...nothing else. Anyway, things are okay so far. More later....

02:19pm -- Larry ended up increasing his Dilaudid dose this morning from 2ml to 3ml. Got a call from SC that Alyce - Larry's mother - is in the hospital. Seems she suffered a mild heart attack a couple of days ago. I spoke with her for a few minutes last night and she was complaining with her leg being numb and very cold. Ended up calling EMS and she is in the best heart hospital in Columbia. Plans are to do a heart cath at some point today.
